Eric Harry Timothy Mabius (born April 22, 1971) is an American actor. He is known for his film and television roles, including Ugly Betty and Cruel Intentions.

Mabius began his career in 1995 with Welcome to the Dollhouse, an art-house movie which starred Heather Matarazzo, followed by I Shot Andy Warhol, with Lili Taylor, in 1996. He was involved with The Crow franchise on more than one occasion: he auditioned for a role as one of Top Dollar's henchmen in the 1993 original Crow and played Alex Corvis in The Crow: Salvation, the third installment, opposite Kirsten Dunst.

His biggest film role to date is as an activist called Matt Addison in Resident Evil. In television, Mabius has appeared on Chicago Hope, Millennium, Popular, The O.C., and the short-lived 2005 series Eyes. He was a regular cast member of The L Word in its first season and returned for one episode in each of the second and third.

As of 2006, he appears in the ABC TV series, Ugly Betty, as Daniel Meade, the fashion magazine editor boss and friend of star America Ferrera's character. After the success of Ugly Betty, he was named one of the sexiest men alive by People Magazine.
