Armand Douglas "Armie" Hammer is an American actor. He is known for his portrayal of the Winklevoss twins in the biographical drama film The Social Network, the title character in the western action film The Lone Ranger, Illya Kuryakin in the action film The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mike in the thriller film Mine, and the voice role of Jackson Storm in the animated film Cars 3.
"We felt like we were in such capable hands," Armie Hammer told The Hollywood Reporter of his experience on working on the Luca Guadagnino-directed romantic drama Call Me by Your Name. "We felt like we had such freedom to explore, and to be ourselves, and to mess up, and it was all okay. No matter what happened, it felt like we were really protected."
Hammer says he felt so comfortable on set that when he was offered a robe in between takes on nude scenes, he refused. "'It's fine, we're going to shoot it again in a second.' You just feel safe."
Call me by your name is a coming of age drama, that if you have not yet seen make sure you do, its actually very good and the acting doesn’t seem fake unlike some similar movies.
