Jason Behr

Jason Behr was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He lived with his family in various cities in the United States, from farmhouses to the big city, before returning to Minnesota with his mother and three brothers.

Jason has been garnering attention from critics and audiences alike for his performances in both feature films and television. He was most recently seen in The Shipping News with Kevin Spacey and Judi Dench, while completing a three season run on the television series Roswell as Max Evans, a unique and complicated young man on a journey to discover himself and his place in the world. The show was produced by New Regency, which also produces the hit television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Jason has been busy since the cancellation of Roswell, with several projects due to be released in the next few months. The Grudge, which reunites him with Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar, hits theaters on October 22 and the independent film Shooting Livien is due to hit theaters soon as well.

Jason has starred in several independent feature films, including the newly released Happily, Even After, which debuted earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival and Rites of Passage, which debuted at the 1999 Palm Springs Film Festival.

Jason became interested in acting at an early age, unveiling his creative energy on the stage at the age of five and continuing to perform and enjoy the challenges of acting throughout his school years. Directly following his graduation from high school, Jason relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his career seriously.

In Los Angeles, Jason was immediately successful. In addition to landing a job as a series regular on Showtime'sSherman Oaks and ABC's Push, he also guest-starred frequently on the CBS, NBC, ABC and WB Networks, appearing on such programs as JAG, Profiler, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Dawson’s Creek. Jason has also performed in numerous stage plays and appeared in over 75 commercials.

On November 10, 2006 Jason married actress Kadee Strickland in a private ceremony in Otay, California.
