Josh Henderson

Joshua Baret Henderson (born October 25, 1981) is an American actor and singer. Arguably, his most high-profile role to date has been that of Austin McCann on theABC hit television series Desperate Housewives. On October 10, 2008, TVGuide.com reported that Henderson will be joining the cast of 90210 as Sean, the biological son of Harry Wilson and Tracy Clark who turned out to be a con artist.

Henderson was born in Dallas, Texas, the son of Sharon Lea Henderson and Mark Anthony Gray. He has one blue eye and one green eye, a condition known as heterochromia. He also lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma and went to Memorial High School.

Henderson competed on the second season of the WB reality show Popstars and won a spot in the group Scene 23, which disbanded after an unsuccessful CD and the demise of their record label. Recently he was asked on if he’s still in touch with any of his former Scene 23 bandmates: “Dorothy is a good friend. Laurie a little bit but Donovan and Monika, I haven’t seen.”

He joined the cast of Desperate Housewives in fall 2006 as Austin McCann, the 18-year-old nephew of Edie Britt, portrayed by Nicollette Sheridan.

On the 2007 edition of Teen Choice Awards, Josh told popular website Just Jared that he has been working on a solo album for three years now: "Still doing Desperate. Then my music. I've been working at my music for the last three years. Trying to get a single on the radio before Christmas."^{[citation needed]}

Henderson also appears in the music video for the Ashley Tisdale single "He Said She Said"

Henderson is known for dating pop singer Ashlee Simpson. The couple ended their relationship in late 2003 after dating for two years; their breakup was featured in the first episode of Simpson's reality show, The Ashlee Simpson Show. He also dated Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad, and Twilight actress Ashley Greene for a short while. Currently, he is dating former Summerland actress Taylor Cole. Kendal Sheppard of MTV's Road Rules has publicly accused Henderson of not accepting responsibility for their child.
